High pressure laminate

High pressure laminate
High pressure laminate (HPL) is a flat panel based on thermosetting resins, homogeneously reinforced with wood fibres and manufactured under high pressure and at high temperatures. Its integrated decorative surface is based on pigmented resins, cured by electron beams. Therefore it is extremely weather resistant. Sun, rain (even acid rain) and moisture do not affect the surface or the core.
UV resistant
HPL is also resistant to the UV radiation in sunlight, which means that the colours will not change significantly even under the most severe climatic conditions. The modulus of elasticity and high tensile and flexural strenght guarantee HPLs high impact resistance and at the same time, the closed, non-porous surface ensures that practically no dirt accretes and makes it very easy to clean.
